Hotel Promotional Products

As I sat in my hotel room in Austin, TX (back in December) I saw numerous promotional items. The hotel is doing a wondrous job of brand recognition. Hotel promotional items are so important to earn repeat business.

Let’s start with your basics - the ink pens and note pads. Now the room we were in that week has a very narrow note pad - just barely enough room to jot down a phone message. Make sure your custom imprinted note pad is usable. The ink pen is your standard imprinted stick pen. It writes nice, I might actually keep it.

Now let’s move on - the next promotional item is the custom imprinted ice bucket. Now I didn’t actually use it, but every time I looked up from the bed, it was there right in front of me. Perfect placement, right below the TV and can be seen from both sides of the hotel room. Not to mention it’s not your plain old black ice bucket - that one was Lime Green!

This hotel didn’t have it, but custom toiletries are an excellent way to keep your name out there. Custom imprinted / bottled shampoos, soaps, conditioners, lotions, etc. are available in numerous shapes, sizes and scents. (Admit it, you take them home too!) Custom imprinted coffee mugs are also a great idea. Almost all hotel rooms have a coffee maker, why serve coffee up in plain old white mugs - imprint them. But don’t freak out if one disappears - just think of it as keeping your name in front of that customer!

Provide custom local maps. Custom imprinted maps will stick around for the duration of your customer’s trip - and if it’s a nice map, they’ll keep it for next time too! You could go with a basic note pad style map (where it’s printed on one page & you tear it off). Or you could go with a custom travel pocket map. They fold up into the size of a credit card and provide beautiful 4 color process printing.

Looking for a nice little “thank-you” gift for your guest. Custom printed chocolate is always a great way to go. Don’t want to do the standard, go with a mint tin or a small tin of cookies (but make sure your name is on them!).

There are so many options to keep your name in front of your guests the key is just doing it. So no matter how large or how small your hotel is, make sure you keep your name out there.
