The first of our Top 10 lists! I thought I’d start with the most economical promotional items (a.k.a. the cheapest!). You can go to www.promopunch.com to purchase any of the items below. So, here goes the first list!
1. Stick Pens - a standard promotional item, ink pens are one of the least expensive promotional items available. Depending on your price range, economical pens range from stick pens to your basic click pens. To stay economical it’s best to stick with basic stick pens or basic click pens.
2. Business Card Magnets - another great standard. Business card magnets are a cheap way to keep your name in-front of your customer. They make a great impact when printed in full color. Take full advantage of these, as you get the most for your money with full color digital printing.
3. Key Tags - I have keys… you have keys. What kind of key tag are you using right now? To keep your costs down, stick with a basic plastic key tag. Good news though, they come in all sorts of shapes & colors, so you’re not limited! Economical & effective!

4. Calendars - from peel & stick ones (cheap, cheap, cheap!) that you apply your business card to, to magnetic business card calendars to computer/keyboard strip calendars, there’s always a good deal running on calendars. (Secret: The earlier in the year you order, the cheaper they are!)
5. Magnets - like the business card magnets, larger custom magnets are an economical way to stay in-front of your customer. Take advantage of the full color digital printing available on magnets - you can produce amazing promotional campaigns using just magnets.
6. Stadium Cups - a great economical promotional item, with an extra large imprint area. A great way to get your message across. Also great for schools and local community events. (I have a cabinet full of these!)

7. Letter Openers - a larger imprint area than an ink pen. A useable item that will be held on to for years. I know I’m always looking for a letter opener, I can’t tell you how many paper cuts I’ve gotten from opening envelopes! Low cost with a big impact!
8. Wallet Cards / Information Cards - range from credit card size to brochure size. These are great way to pass on your message, especially when you have a lot to say. These are also great for sports schedules, pocket calendars & tip charts. Put you info on one side, make the other side useful to the customer!
9. Koozies / Can Coolers - lightweight, with a nice sized imprint area. The collapsible ones make a great mailing piece. Koozies make great summer promotional items. Think about picnics & graduations!
10. Non-Woven Polypropylene Tote Bags - the most economical tote bag around. Not to mention the great printing capabilities. The perfect tote bag for anyone going “green” or anyone going to a tradeshow. Show off your vibrant colors with these bags.

Wow t-shirt is not on the list! I wonder why?
Because believe it or not, t-shirts are not economical. Unless you are ordering 5000-10,000 shirts at a time, t-shirts are rather costly for give-a-ways. All of the items on this list are under $3 a piece. You can’t get a t-shirt printed for that cost at low quantities. However, I will say that t-shirts would be on the list of one of the most effective promotional items!
